We finished the outdoor kitchen and the chimney fascia in one visit. The tile is repaired and regrouted, the whole unit is cleaned up, and the fascia boards on both sides of the chimney are sanded and repainted in a color matched trim paint. Two things turned up while we were on site, a rusted outlet and rusted out fire slats in the grill, and we took care of both the same day.

What we completed

Outdoor kitchen counter with cracked and missing tile before repair
Before
Outdoor kitchen tile, repaired and regroutedCompleted
Patio, bar and counter tops
We pulled the damaged and loose tile off the counter and the bar top, scraped the salvaged pieces clean, and prepped the substrate underneath. Where tile was missing we took full tiles from the low visibility areas and reset them where they show. Then we regrouted the whole countertop and cleaned the unit down, appliances included, so it reads as one finished surface again.

Chimney, both sides
The paint on the fascia had worn through on both sides of the chimney. We sanded the boards back, cut the detail in by hand, and put fresh exterior trim paint on. We had the color matched to your existing trim and left you a gallon of the matched paint so touch ups down the road are easy.

Stainless fire slats replacedCompleted
Built-in grill
The stainless slats that sit over the burners had rusted through and dropped down into the firebox. Without them the flame hits the grates directly and the heat is uneven. We set new slats in.
Rusted GFCI outlet removed from the outdoor kitchen

Exterior GFCI outlet replacedCompleted
Outdoor kitchen
The GFCI outlet serving the outdoor kitchen had rusted through at the mounting yoke. A GFCI that is corroded can stop tripping when it should, which is the whole point of it being there. We pulled it and set a new one in a weatherproof in use cover.

Built-in grill
The grill was carrying years of grease and rust. We stripped it down, cleaned the hood, the firebox and the grates, and put it back together. This one is on us.

Worth keeping an eye on

Open counter section, left of the grillMonitor
Patio, left of the grill
There is still an open section of counter to the left of the grill. A stone remnant cut and set in there would close it off and finish the run. Nothing is at risk leaving it as is, it is a finish item. We can source a piece and set it whenever you want it done.
